Access 2000 Runtime Transform for Terminal Server

A new transform (MST file) is now available to support deployment of the Access 2000 runtime on computers running Windows® Terminal Server.

Toolbox The Access 2000 Runtime for Terminal Server is available from the Office Resource Kit Web site. To download this update, see Access 2000 Runtime for Terminal Server in the Office Resource Kit Toolbox.

Note Transforms can only be used when you initially deploy the Microsoft Access runtime. You cannot reapply a new transform to an existing installation.

Installing the Access runtime transform
To install the transform, you should begin by copying the MST file to the following directory on your computer. If necessary, create the folders as needed:

C:\Program Files\ORKTools\Toolbox\Tools\Terminal Server Tools

After you have copied the file to the specified folder, you can run Setup.exe, adding the TRANSFORMS= option to the command line to specify the location of the MST file. You will need to run different versions of the command line, depending upon whether or not you have installed the SR-1 update to Office 2000.

For Microsoft Office 2000 Developer, original release (non-SR1):
"Path to MOD CD\odetools\v9\accessRT\setup.exe" TRANSFORMS=
"c:\program files\orktools\toolbox\tools\terminal server tools
\termsrvr_art.mst"

For Microsoft Office 2000 Developer SR1:
"Path to MOD CD\accessRT\full\setup.exe" TRANSFORMS=
"c:\program files\orktools\toolbox\tools\terminal server tools
\termsrvr_art.mst"

– or –

"Path to MOD CD\accessRT\min\setup.exe" TRANSFORMS=
"c:\program files\orktools\toolbox\tools\terminal server tools
\termsrvr_art.mst"

For distributed custom applications:
"Path to CD\Runtime\Setup.exe" TRANSFORMS="c:\program files
\orktools\toolbox\tools\terminal server tools\termsrvr_art.mst"
